Really glad to hear you are OK Zac, and that Mum and Dad are ok too, nasty shock is news like that.
Make sure you get the back thing checked out and the 3rd party claim should go through a little smoother with a copy of the Police report attached showing responsibility for the damage belongs to the girl.

Gee whizz, I am so glad he is ok......

Damned pleased the police are gonna charge the driver of the car for being in the wrong.

Get him to write everything down as it happened and to also draw a picture of it all. Helps for later when the police come to take a statement. and for insurance purposes.

yep the bike can be fixed or replaced......
And get as many witnesses as possible to write it down too.

    Not another one

Glad hXc is ok Bikes can be replaced or fixed but peoples are another matter. Still, what a pain, right on summer and claims take for ever when you want a bike.

What is it going to take for people to see us or anything for that matter??

It's frightening to think that there are heaps of people like this driving around totally oblivious to all around them except Kenworths and Big Mack trucks.

The lady at work yesterday, drove out of the carpark, along a six metre wide driveway and straight into a pile of pallets against the wall!! I didn't see them, she says?????!!!!!!!!*******

They are out there so be careful all.

Always assume you are going to be the target when a cage is around and always assume that they really are out to get us.
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.

I think that I might hide the keys to Mstrs's bike for a while.....will that work, do you think??
Actually, I doubt that it has sunk in for Zac yet. He has been so calm - even his principal commented on his calmness and maturity, it might be a different story later.

Hey whats wrong with Ginga? (waits for the barrage)
Glad to hear all concerned are still above ground & breathing by themselves.
It always amazes me that people cannot see objects out the front windscreen.
I got hit from behind at a set of traffic lights while stopped with my brake light one once! Got the usual osidsy (opps sorry I didnt see you)
All the looking through bike trader an on line for new toys is fun though.
May the road rise up to meet you.

Glad you're ok Zac. Ditto to previous comments too. Top marks for the cool calmliness. Mmmm. New bike shopping. Don't be shy about challenging the insurance estimate if it comes in low mate. There are plenty people willing to testify to the well maintained standard of your bike.

Absolutely. Unfortunately, The Mistress is gone. And hXc is waaay too young to handle a Wanton Hussy.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
