    Go the cats!

Finally managed to get some shots of the cats nailing some bunnies!

Charlie, our "boss", has being going hard lately, and is in competition with the neighbours big boy, apparently he has caught around 30 bunnies this season.

Go the cats - only if they've been killing those bunnies
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Yeah, living in the country with livestock, you see the destruction that bunnies empart on your land, the .22 is always handy, certainly don't want the cow and horses breaking their legs in farkin bunny holes!

Damn straight! I'm not keen on rabbits. I used to use the .222, a scope and silencer. Just sit back and watch the little f*ckers drop (the other little buggers had no idea what was happening to their mate Thumper!)

My all time favouraite about farm life is the townies that don't understand the relationship between Daisy and steak! Farms are for food.

S'funny, the neighbourhood cats have stopped coming into our garden since we let the rabbit have the run of it. I guess once the rabbits get past a certain age/size the cats must turn into pussies.

    A 9.3mm Mauser doesn't leave much either!!
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Hmmm, that's why when I'm out rabbit shooting any cat I see gets a bullet too - they're murder on ground-nesting birds, skinks etc - not just rabbits.

Never had a farmer ask me if I've seen Tibby when I've been shooting so there must be a shitload of wild/stray cats out there.

I was hunting in the Kawaka Ranges ( behind Napier ) over christmas and saw more feral cats than deer. Bugger all rabbits though !

Hey g.g. Do you lock them up over easter to minimise the risk of non-egg delivery?

I am so jealous, my two burmese just sit there and make friends with the damn things - maybe too well loved? Can I borrow your cats - mine need mentoring.
