    Crustys in Christchurch

Ok admit it, who went? I went, must say that it was an awesome show , pity didnt see too much of Scary Mary but hey thats life. Also hope the mini-biker that got injured has a speedy recovery!

Who was the one on the yellow DR400(?) after the show that go a wheel going then proceeded to bin it when it hooked up? Hope you are not smarting too much from your bin, lucky you had hand protectors or could have been more expensive!

Yup - my wife the kids and I went. A great show. I think my wife was the most impressed. She asked me afterwards how long I thought it would take from buying a MotoX bike for her to be able to do any of the stunts. I replied, "apart from being able to crash, a lifetime".

I took my Mrs too, and she thought it was pretty awesome as well. I got the whole "so I guess you'll be wanting a new bike then?". I took this as "...you have my approval to buy a new bike...".

Am looking at something quite similar to what you have actually.....2000's DR650 or BMW 650 Dakar. Will see how much she appreciated valentines when I show her what they will cost...

Not quite Crustys style but bit more go than the 200!!!!

The guy on the mini bike was Steve from Sportzone Suzuki. A bit worse for wear apparently today.

Yeah I caught that his name was Steve. They said that he went to hospital with a dislocated collar bone, suspected broken ankle and concusion. Apparently on the morphine...good bless that stuff!

I have only had 6 days on the morph but man did I feel good! I tried to get up out of the bed and climb out the window (not too good when you have had ankle reconstruction and not supposed to move it!)
