    TSS outstanding service

The end of my gear selector fell off on Weds morning going into Wellington, and after 1/4 hour of searching the gutters by New World & the American Embassy I called TSS to help out.

They picked up my bike as soon as their truck was available, and sourced a replacement part. Unfortunately, the existing gear lever assembly bits were after market and the new parts couldn't be put on without a bit of a drama. So, what did they do? Instead of just putting the (probably expensive) part on the bike and charging a couple of hours labour to make it all work, they just made up a bolt-on piece which is just as good as before - and charged me nothing.

Now that's what I call outstanding service, which in turn generates customer loyalty and much appreciation. Good on ya guys - particularly Darren, the workshop guys and Richard, who were really helpful all the way through...some beers are on the way...

    Says it all...

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    different place same service

i agree with everyone here, give great service and business will prosper, had new radiator put in car, took car into local auto sparky to check if fans working as not sure what temp they switched on at,went back at lunchtime and was told all ok,how much.only took 1/4 hour or so ,no charge, went and bought a dozen beer and dropped off to him,owner/operator was wrapt,as he said to me "ya do small jobs for folks and some don't even offer payment",i bought bike battery their prior so use him when i can,by giving a few cans of beer i will get good service when needed in future so it is all relevant for any vehicles, more so the smaller operation is better to deal with,at our work we get people after odds and sods common theme is if it's second hand or given to us to get rid of and is sold,it goes into beer fund for all of us peasants.

You spent 15 minutes hanging around the US Embassy? Jeez, lucky they didn't grab you as an Al Quaida suspect and ship you off to Gitmo!
