I find mine really comfy. Maybe its the clipon bars.

My complaint didn't come from being sore or uncomfortable cos I just don't get that on the X1 but the rooted shock made even the smallest undulation in the road quite an issue!
That problem is gonna be sorted on Wednesday, happy happy joy joy!

If the Tuono is still on your list, take one for a test before you buy a Buell

I like the Buells sooo much I own 4, all different models from '98 to '06, all ride differently & are all fun to ride.
Recently did 905k's in a day. ( not that I highly recommend it, but it was comfortable for a non cruiser.
    They are motorcyclings biggest secret.
You don't need 180Hp to have fun.
So ridable for real every day riding.
Oh yeah you can scub to sides off the tyres before wearing the middle out. Is that fun or what.!!
Look out for the redhed Buells.
If there are corners to ride, I'm be tearing rubber!
