Pink and black Triumph Sprint?? YES?NO?

Ok so I put my bike down up north http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=44603 and I dont really like the red anyways. Ive come from USA and wear baby blue and pink leathers......Im thinking of painting my bike black with a pink tank or some kind of black/pink variation. Now I know that everyone here wears BLACK and for those women who dont have perfect anerexic bodies we look like men on bikes or dykes on bikes. Im a lady and wanna look like one and Im tired of everyone thinking im riding bitch on some mans bike. Ive had the bike only 3 weeks done 4000 ks on her and love it and dont see a change in bikes for me for quite a while.

Anyways what do you all think....
Is it a discrace to triumphs name?
If you saw it on the side of the road what would you think?
Would you ride bitch with me hehehehehe?

It's your bike so do it, for many people their bikes are statement of who they are so this seems like a very good way of making it uniquely you Perhaps when you flick it on you might want to think about repainting it as a pink bike may severely limit the type of person wishing to buy it

Good luck and post up some pictures when you are done.

P.S. You can buy pink helmets as well too you know

Pink? Don't do it unless you go the whole hog (wheels etc) and are prepared to own it the rest of your life...

Many other choices but pink? Um - not really very ladylike is it?

Triumphs racing colours were light blue / white so that could be an appealing choice.

tRUE TRUE....But i dont want it to be an eyesore. Just enough that when you get close you just KNOW its a ladies bike. Thats why I was thinking just the tank...and the rest black. Hmmmm Baby blue would work too....I cant play with colors to much with the red it is right now. So to do it Id have to redo the whole bike.... I figured it would be easy to repaint just the tank if I ever sold her..... but again the whole bike would have to be painted cause what the hell goes with red!

    Tanya - it's YOUR bike.

    Do what makes you happy.

Pink was good enough for John Britten.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Triumph have a colour on their books called: "Nuclear Pink".

It was one of the colours for the previous model Speed Triple and it looks awesome in real life. See if you can get the Triumph Colour charts and then you'll have a Sprint in a unique, but nonetheless factory colour.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

I'd go the basic little black bike route and accessorise to add the feminine touch. Pink fluffy seat covers, mount a compact where a radar detector would go, a big glove box full of assort sunglasses you don't wear anymore and nearly finished lipsticks, old parking tickets you have not paid - you know...

Nuclear Pink definitely has a better ring to it than "British Racing Pink".

Hmmm. A pink Sprint..... heavily metalliced pink would go, I think.
