No, many species of moss are edible (by no means all though, and some that are prolly don't taste very good).

Is it on rain or shine?

I don't like the rain, my black bike gets dirty (water spots), only one thing to do I suppose - never wash it again
We childproofed our homes, but they are still getting in.

You must take a different route to Bethells than I do then...

However, I think a ride is in order, particularly as we are running out of daylight saving days. Scenic Drive/Huia sounds fine.

Huia dam would be much better.

    Nice vid Dan
Bethells is a fairly easy road to do, it is however hard to do well which is I like it as a practice road.

Any noob can do the road, even the experienced can learn a thing or two about sighting lines etc. on corners that tight. Good mix of surfaces. Just be careful to always be able to stop in half the road you can see. Most of the locals drive like they own the road.

Have to agree with the daylight savings thing....we can't have Disco getting lost on another night ride...

Went out last night for a small ride and Disco missed a turn off.... we had to chase him...Gwinch tooted his horn, and I flashed my headlight and still he missed us!!!

Bring on winter!!! to practise riding in the wet
