Fuck you are a whiney little bitch RM!

Get off your arse and live life, make mistakes and learn from them, take calculated risks and reap the rewards!

What is the point in completing your education if you have no idea what you're going to do with it or where it is going to take you?

Formulate a life strategy and figure out a tactical plan.

"By the time I am 35 years of age I want to own a small manufacturering/engineering company earning $120k + per year".

"To do this, I need to obtain an education in the relevant field, this will take 3 years, then I need to establish a good level of industry experience, this will take 5 years, during this time I need to save $10,000 per annum so that I have enough as starting capital to start my business and grow it, I also need to keep a clean credit record so that I can source financial support from banks".

Might be a bit more involved than that, but there you have it. Know what you want in life, figure out how to get it, talk to people, ask for advice, listen to other peoples experiences and sort your shit out.

If not, please, PLEASE, don't breed!

You misunderstand, Obviously you cant read.

What I was meaning was that, in order to be good at something you don't have to like it.

Are you implying that the best thing, in your life is your job? How I don't want to be you. There are a hell of alot of other things one can do that are endless amounts of fun points higher than work. What you are suggesting is that if you wernt getting payed for your work you would still do it just becuase it is your best source of entertainment, I don't work to be entertained, I work to support my lifestyle, i.e motorbikes and stuff I like to do when I'm not at work.

FYI mstriumph I know thats not what you ment, I was just using your words to illistrate my POV and break it down to your level.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Hang in there, finish your degree and then go do what you want and you will always have your qualification to fall back on if you need it. Take advantage of the fact you can live at home, cheaply, qet support, food, bed etc from parents and study. Is a hell of a lot harder having to study full time and work full time as you need to bay bills as well (i have done that). The roads, the trapping and the other pros you mention are all still going to be there when you finish your qualifiication. I know sounds boring BUt hey that way you can then get the best of both worlds and have no regrets about never finishing Uni

Hitcher, Sorry I cant validate them because they were verbally passed by a lecturer when I studied a few law papers at Victoria in the 80s, they would be out of date but from my experience seem intuitively sound given time and expense undertaken vs utility of earnings and experience for a non qualified person engaged in a like industry for the period.

There have been studies that I am sure could be googled up and I would be surprised if the figures departed hugely unless of course they focused on specific professional degrees, frinstance law in which case lifetime earning capacity for certain individuals could be many hundreds of percent above the norm. Of course you would need to strip out the marketing spin if the study was sponsored by a tertiary institution.

Interesting point raised by Dover as well and I think that could be common story, qaulified or not if the person was engaged long term with an employer where salary an career aspirations were met i.e. working you way up the ladder.

You have successfully been in the spotlight for days now. From your answers which you always seem to argue in favour of going trapping cos you have all the reasons figured out. Just do it when you get sick of being wet, cold and miserable phone 0800 Newcops they are always looking for people who like trapping things. They do it in a more comfortable enviroment but they still smell the same.
