One dog handler was very busy over in Glen Eden at around the same time as the police chase on the motorbike runner. Thats where the police helicopter was for some time as well.

So the police have been very busy this arvo.

Just a red light runner from what I heard. Rider has gone to a hell of a lot of trouble to try and avoid a $150.00 ticket although its quite possible he was disqualified or something along those lines.

    Wasn't he a lucky smurf.

Well lucky the dog handler was busy.

Here is a question how well would the dog have been able to maul him if he had been in leathers????
I feel like I'm diagonally parked in a parallel universe.

I reckon the dog would bash him over pretty well (them police dogs are pretty impressive in action), but he (notice we are assuming a male) wouldn't have any scars to show off to his buddies.

Cripes ... turned a $150 red light runner into something more serious ... must have had a brain fart and decided to heap bad karma on?

I think the ecilops have better things to do than chasing someone around in rush hour, they're overworked and underfunded as it is! So does the bike get left by the side of the road with a yellow sticker while it's owner gets a free ride in the back of the car?

damnit... i swore i'd get away. Thought i'd detour through Otara in hope that the cop would smell a P-lab or tinny house but the luck was in his favour and i ran outta go juice. Court appearance on Friday. Anyone seen my engine lately?

rofl, good point mate! I should've known it would be hard taking corners when your swingarm is 3m away from the frame... doesnt help when your valve head is on a shelf, the crankcase on a bench, and the rest of your engine sitting quietly in a bout 500 pieces in a cupboard.

And exactly what use is a dog handler when trying to catch a motorbike? Perhaps a better questions is exactly why would you need one when the man/woman in question just gave themselves up?

Dog handler - he's handy in controlling the dog - which is pretty handy at controlling a crazy loon who could be on a P rage.

You never know why people run - and you don't know who's doing the running until they are caught.

Despite how cool Ghostrider (not you N4CR - so shush it now) looks doing a runner most people aren't out to simply "make a DVD" (no Mark comments wanted either).
