um errr no thanks Lissa, methinks ill take the other way (although cos i live in the hutt the difference in distance is from here to featherston)

. It only took me 2hours the other day (192km), and is a much better trip (Pahiatua Track, through Ashurst and through to Cheltnam-ish). At least come home that way, its far less frustrating than the coastal route.

probably will come back that way depending on how I go - just realised i've only had the bike back for a month and havnt really gone very far on it and certainly not all day

Also he will be bringing his work van (but might take the car), not sure if he will empty it out first (did think of putting the bike in to take it up) but seems as he's a sparky plenty of screwdrivers knives and electrical tape for everybody! (also going to be a good place to chuck backpacks and the like!)

Sweet, looks like i'm finally gonna make a track day, with a couple of others in tow too. Been trying to convince my flatmate to help out as well, but every time I ask her to be a brolly dolly or pit babe I get a dead leg, won't keep me from trying.
