    Got my Restricted, then fined.

So at 1:15pm i sat my Restricted Licence test. They stuffed up so i ended up only having a 5 minute practical test and they waivered the whole other page. SWEET AS!
So me being a dick, thought i'ld take the exhausts off my bike tonight(they are broken) (VERY LOUD without em), and take it for a ride and go hang out with the usual Friday night crew. HEAPS of cops around all night, so i refrain from riding, and let my bike sit there.
Anyway, everyone ends up heading for home so i do the same. Off i go, down the first right, theres a cop parked down a side street, i pull in the clutch to quieten the engine, look in the mirrors, didnt see him coming, SWEET AS, off i go, giving it hell (bad idea). 1k ish up the road here comes this cop, flying up behind me flashing lights. I pull over, he gets his megaphone out and tells me "Please step off your vehicle" (at this point i thought about putting my hands behind my back and lying down, just for a laugh). He walks over, looks at the bike, then asks what i'm doing, why i was going so fast.
Me - "But i wasnt speeding officer?"
Him - "Well i had to do about 140km/h even 160km/h just to catch up to you". (he was in a 80km/h zone)
Me - "But i wasnt speeding though!"
Him - "Are those modified exhausts are they?"
Me - "uuhh..nope, they are broken"
Him - "Alright then, can i see your licence"
I passed him my licence, and off he went to check stuff out, and then noticed i was on my R. He questioned me about that and then got his ticket book out. As he was writing it i asked him -
"I guess i don't get a warning then (in sulky voice)"
Him - "Your warning was for speeding and not having silenced exhausts"
Me - "But i wasnt speeding!!"
Him - "Well you seemed to be going very fast"
    Me - "hhmmpphh "
So he writes me a $400 ticket for riding after 10pm on a restricted licence. Its a bit of a blow when ive never been pulled up before. Yeah i deserved it in a way, but im still pissed off. Plenty of other boy racers he could have chosen.
So i got my restricted at 1:15pm and got ticked at 1:08am
Oh i forgot to mention, i was about 50metres away from home :-/

    Life sucks,
    i'll live...

If you're riding on 1am on a restricted license, then why on earth did you bring attention to yourself by removing your baffles?

Um, yep. You know you did.

I don't like to see anyone get taxed like this, but if you were a resident trying to get sleep nearby, or some hoon on a loud bike woke up your baby at 1am, I think you would see the point!

Why remove the baffles on a hyosung?
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.

"Broken" baffles on a 2005 bike?? Even for a Hyosung that's a stretch.

I've never *got* the noisy can thing for this very reason. They're like honey to bees, they attract attention. Especially at 1am. Have you ever sat outside at 1am and listened? You can hear bikes 2km away when they wind up ... and that's prolly the ones that are baffled
