My ticket was $42 from ticketek, and they are offering tickets for sale on the Ticketek website. The Kings Arms events page says door sales from 8pm.

Yeah it'll still be rush hour, don't know how long it'll take you, but I wouldn't worry about hurrying in to the central city. The doors are supposed to open at 7:30, the first band prob won't start till 8 or 8:30 and there are two support acts before Hatebreed take the stage so you'll have plenty of time to get there.

I'll be the bloke with long hair, leathers and wearing a BLS vest. Come over and say hi if you spot me.

Funnily enough they are. Their music is loud and abrasive but through it they tackle emotive issues and often promote positive messages of strength, self reliance and refusal to fail, refusal to submit to substance abuse, and refusal to submit to negative and destructive patterns of thought. Their lyrics make for interesting reading.

For example the first track 'Defeatist" from their latest album 'Supremacy':

    Trapped within your own apathy
Spiralling into a cycle of loss
Beaten mind with a bruised reflection
It's addiction to failure and substances
That ties you to your selfish punishment
    In your eyes it's cursed
No fix, no cure, tortured with imperfection
    Your hatred is aimless
This is my hatred, this is my vow,
    Never to be broken

    Cause you HATE yourself
    And you HATE this world
    And you HATE the fact
    That you HATE every moment

Defeatist, you and I will never be the same
I've taken this vow of hatred...Take the vow
A promise to myself to never be my own defeatist
This is my hatred, this is my vow.
    Never to be broken

Or 'Another Day Another Vendetta' from 'The Rise of Brutality':

The question they keep asking me.
How can one so young be so bitter and angry
Well the answer is plain to see
Just look around at this world that we're living in.
    It's die or let die
    Take or be taken from
    And there's nowhere to run
    Who do we look to
    What have we done
These times have taken the best from us.
    All I see is killing
    Another day, another vendetta
    There is so much suffering
    Another day, another vendetta

I see the homeless standing out on the streets
On every corner, they're asking for money
I try to help them whenever I can but sometimes
I can't afford to help myself.
I see diseases and modern plagues of our time
The greed of our leaders have made them blind
To our problems, they spend millions over seas
While people right here are fighting wars everyday

    All I see is killing
    Another day, another vendetta
    There is so much suffering
    Another day, another vendetta

All you can do is stay close to what is true to you.
Stay close to what is true to you.
All you can do is stay close to what is true to you
Stay close to what is true to you.

Never let go of what you strive for.
    Hold tight, never let go
Never let go of what you strive for.
Never think you can't make a change.

    All I see is killing
    Another day, another vendetta
    There is so much suffering
    Another day, another vendetta

actually alot of bogans and other lovely people most of the bogans are rockers and thrashy metal, alot of the black/death metal people are educated uni students most of the time and not all depressed like you'd think. it's the goths that usually are singled out as the lost depressed ones. but most of that stuff i wrote is generalising anyway...
