Rider down yesterday at the 'Takas (4 March)

I was coming up the ‘Takas from Featherston side and saw that a rider had come off his RSV. Seemed to be a couple of cars and bikes parked up but I still stopped to see what I could do to assist. The Aprilia wasn’t too badly damaged just mainly cosmetic. The rider appeared to be have a broken leg but otherwise was okay.
I helped put the bike onto a ute that was there.

The cops arrived shortly after and then the ambulance so I decided to bugroff.

Those roads can be very unforgiving !!

Was surprised by the good condition of the tukas last night. First time up there in a while. Might start spending more time up there.

Yeah I'd love to know if he is a KB'er and if he's okay.
The Aprilia RSV is one of those models with the twin pipes on the RHS.

The road condition was quite good, lots of cars and trucks though, which made overtaking a tad dicey at times.

Tyre wear, knee-sliders (if you have time to look). You can usually tell, but Im sure you're going to tell me differently.

Takas were nice yesterday. I didn't notice any traffic though...

The corner was a right hander about 3-4 corners from the top, not a particularly difficult corner I thought but I don’t know the circumstances of course.

I don’t remember seeing his helmet as by the stage I got to him, he had got it taken off.

He was wearing full leathers, black ones, and seemed to be someone who knew how to ride judging by his tyres (chicken-strip-less I did notice).
Apparently had only just finished servicing it on Friday, new fork-seals etc.
The RSV had gold fork sliders and lots of carbon-fibre bits.
I think the bike was being dropped into Motomart this morning.

I’d love to know who it is and see how he’s doing.
