You gonna have words with the supplier?

Standard motor. Motor explodes. Supplier has some responsibility. Even if its just good faith like giving you the parts at a cheep price.

Wouldnt you be kinda make if you brought a new holden and after the warranty runs out the motor explodes? and instead of say $800 your looking at an excess of $8000? Same diffrence.

That's what warranty means Googie, once it expires, you're on your own. You might have a case if it happened maybe a week afterwards but several months, an aftermarket exhaust and a re-jet of the carb later?

Fairlie might get a bit of sympathy discount from Retroscooter, but LML coughing up? No chance.

    Slight Hairline Crack

Can you see the slight imperfection resulting in the failure...

However you will all be happy to know that I am back on the road with a nice Malossi 166 kit, Muzzuchelli full circle crank, T5 carb, and Euro bearings.

Runs like a French soldier under fire.

    Backwards?
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.
