What time should we do the return ferry?
Yes for the bag, but not as much junk it it, shall I take the espresso maker this year. It should also leave enough space for a duvet.
I was talking to spankme the other day and I will get the flag off him but without the pole.
It was radiator fluid from the bottom of the long hose. I just did up the pipe clamp a bit more.

I used to love watching all the bikes going past when I lived in Palmerston. I remember some weird and wonderful machines and I didn't really understand how they could go??? And the Brass Monkey was some special thing that bikers did every year- no idea what happened there or why.
Still no idea what happens but going to find out. Guess I'd better go through Palmerston on my way there too. Can't wait for Queens Birthday

Good to here you are brave enough to try out the Brass Kinje.
See you there and keep warm and rubber side down on your trip down.
Feel the fear and do it anyway
Don't confuse education with intelligence.
There are alot of highly educated idiots out there.
PLUGs got plans for heading down early Friday, going Makenzie Pass, Haka Track, Dansys Pass, staying around Nasbey somewhere Friday night. Then getting to the Rally early Saturday, setting up and going off adventuring for the day. Sunday and Monday winding our way home again via any back road or track that grabs our interest.

I've formulated a plan for going down. Taking a few extra days either side of rally- riding down through Lewis Pass, staying with parents in Timaru, Brass Monkey, then back up to Picton via the West Coast.

I'll def be at the Brass, and in my opinion and not ranked in any order, the Summer season rallys that I have enjoyed, either for the ride to, or the event itself.
Nelson Rally(my first real summer rally, 2006 rocked. 3 days of briliance)
Glenorchy Rally (awesome ride in to this one, the stop over in Queenstown and run on the luge was great)
Woodstock(Ride to is good, great rally again)
March Hare(Bloody excellent, the biggest I guess??)
The others I have been to this season are
Hororata (would not travel the country for this one)
Mokihinui (Expect the wet or you will disapointed, an awesome ride to it anyways, a smallish to midsize event)
And last bu not least, the KB get-together down Otamatata, that was awesome, great ride, ok companyand well nothing more to be said.
I am sure others will have differing opinions...
I also heard that the Burt Monroe event was a goodin for it's first last 06. Sadly my wedding aniversary prevent me attending..
