Murderous bitch in a SUV (12 March)

    Incident this arvo.

    Location: Newmarket, Auckland.

Traffic lights at bottom of Khyber Pass and Broadway and I am heading towards Parnell past the Olympic Pool on my scoot bike.

I filter up on the left to the lights (in the Bike Lane). This position sets you up about 2 metres ahead of the traffic in the 2 right lanes. I have a SUV directly on my right and behind.

Lights change and I fang off (relatively for a 125cc Scoot) getting ahead of the traffic by a good margin. Probably 60kmh p/h and ahead at this point.

Suddenly I sense and see in my mirrors, the SUV accelerating hard on my shoulder while up ahead the lanes narrows to a single lane. There was no way this vehicle was going to give me room to shift right and in fact it narrowed the space down so much that as it passed the parked cars on the left...it would have collected a door should one have opened.

I have no doubt this was an aggressive and deliberate action to take me out as a response to my filtering up to the front.

Luckily I braked and eased off as I sensed the danger but the SUV missed me by half a metre or less.

I chased it through the roundabout until it stopped at the lights up by the Mobil Service Station. Luck would have it that the passenger window was down and I gave her a f**ckin earful. I resisted the urge to do the "mirror thing"

She could not get to the window control fast enough and she knew what she had done.

Murderous aggressive bitch. (which I told her about)

(Shame ....she was a hottie too)

She wasn't speeding though, so who cares?

Seriously though, that behaviour is scary. Glad you escaped, and I hope she got the message......

If Duc was doing 60, and the SUV was catching... sounds like she was speeding to me...

Never assault a person or their vehicle at a service station.

Cool, the cops might actually take some interest in what would otherwise only be attempted assault with a 4 tonne weapon.

he said it was at the lights by a mobil...chances are the cameras dont reach that far. and they dont pick up sound either, so if they did film this, itd just look like people having a chat.

dude...well done for getting out of a sticky situation. its things like this that keep me from filtering

Totally expected response from a cretan piece of shit like you. Wish you were there and the results were different.

For other posters : Dover took exception that I did not take his advice on where to get braided brake lines from. He has decided that personal abuse is the way he will respond to any post I make.

    Go figure the man.
