    Kiwi Rider Mangawhai adventure ride

    More details:

Ride will take place on Saturday 14th April and cover approximately 350km of gravel roads, farm tracks and ,hopefully, some picturesque forest trails. HQ will be the Riverside Campground in Mangawhai and we have negotiated a discounted rate for those who wish to camp on Friday and Saturday nights of $12 per night, per person. Entry fee is $105 and includes route sheets, lunch and Saturday evening dinner and bike recovery in the event of the unthinkable. Pillions are $35.

If you would like an entry form, e-mail me at chris@kiwirider.co.nz or call 09 416 5307 and ask for me or Julie and we'll send you a form in the post.

    Hope to see you there

    Cheers
    Chris

    Postponed

This now off apparently as extreme fire risk. Chris advises it will go ahead later in the year, keep an eye on KR mag.

In a couple of weeks I won't have any reason to put a spoke north of the Bombay's.....although I could be lured with the chance to wash down gravel dust with free beer......

Nope, we postponed it until later in the year. We weren't allowed to access the forest areas we were going to use due to the fire risk at the time. Therefore we couldn't map it out in time. Same story with the farmland, denied access due to fire risk. Seems a bit daft now after all the rain we've just had.
