Ample parking at the worlds end too - not a lot of foot path to park on though.

Sounds awesome! See you guys there. Bayfair is a good place to meet, although i do have unfinished business with the roundabout there, got knocked off last week on it. Worlds End is a good place to finish to, heaps of parking, pool tables, OH and Burger King opposite

Being a newby at these events, what is the norm in the way of eggs? ie one each or bags of?
My Daughter is dead keen on this - normally she will come for a ride with me just to humour the old man, but she is keen on delivering eggs to the sick kids.

Gidday Highlander, - whatever you decide Mate, there's no snobbery or expectation, anything given is really apprecaited. I usually buy 1 decent size one, less than 10 bucks certainly. Come up and say gidday on the day, - I'll be there early, Red ST with a RIDER seat, parked up the front somewhere, and will be marshalling in a flouro vest.

I see in last nights Bay Times (22/03/07) the hospital folks would rather see toys and books than chocolate.
Might have to Warehouse a couple of teddy bears or something.

As a new KB member I'll be there on my aging CX500, with my 10 year old on the back and a teddy bear attached somewhere on the bike...

    Hey Mat, welcome to KB.
I'll have my 15 year old with me - she is quite looking forward to it.

Yeah, last year the Hospital said they'd like cash instead of Easter Eggs. That didn't appeal. So, as a concession, we're calling it the Easter Egg and Toy Run, so people have a choice.

It amazes me what some folks will donate - there were the most beautiful soft bunny toys there last year (I wanted one!). I also got the pleasure of handing out some of the toys and easter eggs last year and it was very fulfilling. It's all about who you know

On the books vs chocolate vs toys thing - this flexibility is a great idea. Some of the kids/patients might be nil by mouth or they can't eat truckloads of chocolate I've bought many little easter eggs because the smaller kids can't get through the big ones.

As per usual I'm going to be there giving everyone a bit of shit (and posing with the RSV) so I hope to see you all there! It would be coooooooool for KB to make an appearance and support the community.

Who do I have to know then? My Daughter would be in to that in a big way if she got half a chance.
