Should see the kids classrooms at primary.. 12 ipads per class.. fookin hell, pretty sure we had 1 overhead projector per school that had to be wheeled from class to class. and the best app on it was when I drew a penis on a clear sheet and left it beaming up on the blackboard while the teacher was out of class

Why thank you for pointing out the obvious to me, I sometimes miss it as I'm so narrowminded. You are indeed correct and all of those changes have been made, not by those that broke the law, more by those with the intelligence, education and gumption to work at making a change.
It is always good to question, I tell myself that every day, but, the law at the moment states that smoking/growing/selling pot is illegal. I used to think there was nothing really wrong with smoking pot, I used to smoke it and did so for many years. Since I ceased I came to realise that it is not the harmless drug I thought it once was. Amazing, how one can't see what's under one's nose, until one steps back.
Being narrow-minded is very common amongst senior citizens. You're forgiven.
Those changes were not made by those who broke the law, you are correct. However, the people who broke those old laws (impossible in the case of women voting I'm assuming) were the ones who prompted discussion that ultimately lead to change. The ones who made the changes were the politicians of the time, not necessarily any more intelligent than those who broke the laws or had the gumption to question them.
Thanks again for sharing your personal experiences and opinions. It's a shame that you couldn't see what was under your own nose. Often overlooked is the fact that what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but it's not very nice when one sides views aren't always based on actual knowledge or apparent solid reason and directly impede the other sides ability to choose for themselves.

Is humour the same as humor? I know a lot about humor. It's extremely subjective, much like opinions on Cannabis use and ones ability to operate a motor vehicle whilst under the effects of a powerful narcotic.

I'm finding it quite intriguing, but not overly surprising, that those who support and endorse the use of dak for whatever purposes they feel justifies it are the ones most vehemently arguing that those who don't support it are closed minded and somehow the weird ones in the universe.
I'm entitled to my opinion and appreciate that others have a different viewpoint. I don't appreciate my opinion being dismissed as described above simply because I don't follow the hippie crowd.

Take from it what you will, I take from it that prohibition isn't working and the current laws have created a sub-culture that could benefit from education and simply bringing the issue out into the open. Not at all. I'm just surprised at the (by way of extrapolation) a person - whom we know next to nothing about (we know 3 facts: female, 18yo, and a daughter) - is being torn to shreds here over an action that we have no way of knowing exactly what precipitated it.
The ensuing ranting and raving is directed at her actions of "narking on her parents" rather than a lack of support of weed growing/smoking/eating. This I am aware of. It's just curious that those of us who are not siding with the she's-a-fucking-nark-bitch-who-deserves-a-lifetime-of-(insert whatever fate one likes) definitely seem to be seen as the weirdos here by some. In hindsight I think I can live with that though; I've never been afraid to be seriously uncool or considered a sheep (rather be a sheep than one of the goats!)

So what you are saying Princess is that for the sake of 2 and only 2 plants that you would be happy that your kids (young adults), which you had given the unsupervised run of your property to with their friends are right to air your laundry in public rather than speak to you first? Even if she had destroyed the plants and spoken to her parents it would have been fine. There is so much to this and little of it to do with the weed itself, relatively harmless by evidence even though I don't and never will use. The main issue for me is the Stazi informant bit. If they had had a stack of weapons, a P lab even or were producing kiddie porn then that would change my opinion as those have potential for real uncontrolled harm, P labs tend to blow up after all.

I think this conversation is going to end up going in circles. We don't know all the facts. Maybe there have been more plants in the past. Maybe she hates her parents guts (for some other reason). Maybe maybe maybe maybe.
But hey, this is the kb kangaroo court - we like to shoot first, bury the dead, then ask questions later.
In answer to your question, in case you think I'm avoiding it: first of all it wouldn't happen because I don't use or grow; second if I'm indulging in something that regardless of my opinion of whether it's harmless/useful/none of anyone else's damned business what i do is unlawful then I do it if full knowledge that it could come back to bite me in the arse one day. I go about my business prepared to take the rap if it comes down to that.

I think you're making way too much of the original subject Dawn. This thread has moved on from there to a discussion (among other things - i.e. Ed's addiction) of the pros and cons of cannabis reform. Hey, plenty of other countries are considering it - why shouldn't we.
Just to wind you up a bit further though - yes, the girl in the OP could just as easily be a vindictive bitch who was told that she couldn't attend a party that Saturday night.
And further furthermore, there seems to be more people in this thread vilifying the parents by questioning their morals and their parenting skills and calling them criminals (simply because TPTB choose to call them criminals) than there are criticizing the daughter.

Cannabis plants 'juiced'
Last updated 13:00 09/04/2013
A Collingwood bartender caught growing 122 cannabis plants told police he made juice out of the cannabis leaves to provide relief from a medical condition.
Police raided Krishna Mason's Puramahoi property in Golden Bay after spotting plants growing during their annual aerial search.
Police found 122 plants on the property, which had a caravan and several out buildings.
The plants ranged in size from 20cm to 2 metres tall. They were reasonably healthy, police said.
Mason showed police a banana box containing 125 grams of cannabis.
He told police he had a medical condition, and the plants were for his use.
He said he stripped the leaves off the plant and put them in a juicer.
He could get 60ml of juice from an ounce of cannabis.
Yesterday in the Nelson District Court he admitted charges of possessing cannabis and cultivating cannabis.
His lawyer David Holloway said Mason accepted it was a large number of plants, but most of them were around the 20cm mark.
Mason was a Christchurch earthquake refugee. He could pay a fine as he had savings from work he had in Christchurch.
Judge McKegg fined Mason $800.

Thank you for your post. I would like to put to you that if people simply accepted the laws of the nation and never questioned them women in New Zealand would still not have the right to vote, retailers wouldn't be open on Sundays and pubs would close at 6pm. You might not give a flying razoo about any of that but the fact remains that some did and they challenged what was then the status quo. Laws of the land are unlike the laws of physics in that ultimately they are just words written on paper, by mere mortals who are part of society. Society changes over time as do peoples beliefs and accepted norms. Sorry to state the obvious but after reading your post I didn't think you'd mind. :niceone:

I do imagine it will be legal, one day. But will it open up debate for making other things lega? I think it will. But it doesn't mean coke and shit will be at the dairy any time soon.

I think you're making way too much of the original subject Dawn. This thread has moved on from there to a discussion (among other things - i.e. Ed's addiction) of the pros and cons of cannabis reform. Hey, plenty of other countries are considering it - why shouldn't we.
Which only a limited number of people keep referring to. In addition, I personally have no issue at all with reform and whether NZ should go the same way as other countries on this topic. For NOW though, as the law currently stands I have no problem whatsoever standing by the comments I've made.
Just to wind you up a bit further though - yes, the girl in the OP could just as easily be a vindictive bitch who was told that she couldn't attend a party that Saturday night.
Absolutely. I don't think I dismissed that possibility out of hand. All I ever said was We Don't Know
And further furthermore, there seems to be more people in this thread vilifying the parents by questioning their morals and their parenting skills and calling them criminals (simply because TPTB choose to call them criminals) than there are criticizing the daughter.
I think there's enough vilifying to go round everyone here - share the love.
I hope the colours I've chosen for my replies can be read...

Whilst I have "slung some shit" I've tried to keep it on topic as much as I can (although as I see it the topic has evolved from the OP to a debate on drug reform) it's hard to say what would get a thread to PD, on one hand there has been everything from assaults on peoples character to full on keyboard warrior threats. On the other hand the discussion does tend to revert back to the point often. I'd be sorry to see this thread die in PD as it has been very entertaining, but it's the threats and character assassination that makes it fun. It's not like there's anything to be gained here, convincing people that I have the right to decide what I put into my body here is not going to affect any change in the laws in this country.

Supervision for man who grew cannabis
05:00 09/04/2013
A Washdyke timberyard worker has been sentenced to six months' supervision after 20 cannabis plants were discovered at his home.
Jason Troy Sadler, 34, pleaded guilty yesterday in the Timaru District Court to cultivating cannabis.
Police visited Sadler's Washdyke property on February 26. He admitted he had been growing cannabis and in the garage a large tent was discovered with 20 cannabis plants, between 30cm to 40cm high, under two heat lamps.
His lawyer said Sadler had a cannabis addiction and would like to address that. Previous counselling had failed because he was deaf and had no interpreter and had not been able to call to make appointments.
Judge Joanna Maze noted the charge had not been laid indictably as the plants were for Sadler's own use and not to be sold. The plants were well short of harvest.

Legal Highs users showing up in Emergency Departments
Written by Legal Highs NZ on April 5, 2013. Posted in Legal Highs, Synthetic Cannabis, Synthetic Cannabis News
Users that are concerned that they have overdosed on “Legal highs” are starting to become more and more prevalent in emergency departments.
Although alcohol is still by far the most serious problem according to Nelson Specialist Dr Tom Jerram.
Legal Highs are apparently becoming more problematic than illicit drugs say some frontline emergency medics.
There has been an increase in people going to the Nelson Hospital emergency department with symptoms brought on by synthetic cannabis products according to Dr Jerram. He was apparently concerned by the “legal anomaly” that allowed these drugs to be sold at dairies and other accessible outlets.
“It’s becoming more and more regular” Dr Jerram said, “In the last week I can think of five or six cases that I have been involved with that presented to ED as a direct result of these legal herbal highs, mostly synthetic marijuana”.
Nelson St John team leader Gary Tobin agreed with Dr Jerram and said paramedics had been treating more patients who had adverse reactions to, or had taken too many tokes of a herbal high.
The demographic is apparently young adults whom are abusing and not just ‘using’ the legal highs.
Dr Jerram said patients showed symptoms ranging from general agitation, to vomiting and altered behaviour. To his knowledge one patient had been admitted to intensive care.
Paramedics had seen patients become hyper-excited, psychotic or emotional, or show other mental disturbances, Mr Tobin said.
Dr Jerram said doctors were seeing more and more “cannabis hyperemesis” at the hospital – a condition causing repeated, protracted vomiting that affected heavy cannabis users after they quit smoking. “It took people a long time to realise that it was generally heavy marijuana users who got this. It seems like people who use the synthetic cannabis get a similar thing.”
Dr Jerram claims that legal highs posed a bigger problem for Nelson than illicit drugs such as cannabis or even methamphetamine, which he said was not all that common. “Compared with the amount of problems we see from marijuana, which is actually pretty minimal, we see a lot more with these legal highs,” he said.
One industry insider says that this is clearly because people are not comfortable going to hospital when they have issues stemming from illicit drug use, as they are concerned about the repercussions, so Dr Jerrams observation is somewhat accurate but doesn’t really show the full picture.
“I think alcohol still causes far and away most of our problems. But, in Nelson anyway, the legal highs would be significantly more of a problem than illicit drugs.” says Dr Jerram.
That was both because they were more readily available and more people seemed to be using synthetic drugs, some thinking it was a good way to quit illicit substances.
Mr Tobin said St John’s staff were concerned about the trend too, noting that most cases of drug abuse are never seen by medical professionals.
“If we are getting called to a few there will be a hell of a lot more we don’t see, people who self present, or whose friends or family take them up to A and E, or people who are just cared for at home or in the community by their friends until they recover.”
Paramedics were specialists in recognising and dealing with symptoms rather than attributing symptoms to a cause, he said. “It’s not so much having an antidote for a herbal high, it’s seeing somebody who is in distress and doing what you can to keep them safe until they get better.”
Generally the main issues seem to be when people are abusing the products, consuming too much in one sitting or mixing with large amounts of alcohol.
Advice – What do to if you have an over dose on synthetic cannabis or legal highs?
Stay calm
Focus on your breathing and try to relax, think of something happy
Go for a small walk, spend some time with a pet or go lie down
Remember that the effects will wear off within 20 minutes and continue to drop off for up to 45 – 60 minutes
Consume a sugary or caffeinated drink or something to eat, this can help move the cannabinoids out your system
Relaxing teas, chamomile, peppermint, green tea or a milk drink can help relax you
Sometimes an alcoholic beverage may help lower anxiety, but is not recommended to consume heavy amounts of both
Anti-anxiety medication such as benzodiazepines can help in severe cases

Medics slam 'legal highs'
JAMES GREENLAND
Last updated 13:00 04/04/2013
"Legal highs" have become more problematic than illicit drugs, say frontline emergency medics.
More people are going to the Nelson Hospital emergency department with symptoms brought on by synthetic cannabis products, specialist Tom Jerram said. He was concerned by the "legal anomaly" that allowed drugs to be sold at dairies and other accessible outlets.
"Working in the emergency department you are almost sort of a canary in a coalmine.
"You get an idea of what's going on and trends, and we are seeing more and more problems with young people who use these [synthetic marijuana products].
"It's becoming more and more regular. In the last week I can think of five or six cases that I have been involved with that have presented to ED as a direct result of these legal herbal highs, mostly synthetic marijuana," Dr Jerram said.
Synthetic drug analogues or "legal highs" have been under scrutiny this week after a Nelson user was admitted to intensive care and concerns were raised about dairies selling them to young people.
Nelson St John team leader Gary Tobin agreed with Dr Jerram and said paramedics had been treating more patients who had adverse reactions to, or taken too many tokes of, a herbal high.
Mr Tobin said he conducted a straw poll of six paramedics and all but one had been to a job on their last shift "where a major contributing factor has been the use of herbal highs like Kronic or K2".
He was unsure whether St John treated more males or females for legal high symptoms, but said "the demographic is certainly teenagers and young adults, from 14 up to 22, that sort of range".
He said legal highs were catching up on alcohol, which was still the most common cause of substance abuse-related callouts for ambulance staff.
Dr Jerram had noticed no obvious demographic of legal high abusers turning up at Nelson Hospital.
He said patients showed symptoms ranging from general agitation, to vomiting and altered behaviour. To his knowledge one patient had been admitted to intensive care.
Paramedics had seen patients become hyper-excited, psychotic or emotional, or show other mental disturbances, Mr Tobin said.
"Hyper ventilation is quite common. We have had episodes where they have had convulsions, brief episodes of unconsciousness or seizures, nervous twitching."
Dr Jerram said doctors were seeing more and more "cannabis hyperemesis" at the hospital - a condition causing repeated, protracted vomiting that affected heavy cannabis users after they quit smoking. "It took people a long time to realise that it was generally heavy marijuana users who got this. It seems like people who use the synthetic cannabis get a similar thing."
Dr Jerram said legal highs posed a bigger problem for Nelson than illicit drugs such as cannabis, or even methamphetamine, which he said was not all that common. "Compared with the amount of problems we see from marijuana, which is actually pretty minimal, we see a lot more with these legal highs," he said.
"I think alcohol still causes far and away most of our problems. But, in Nelson anyway, the legal highs would be significantly more of a problem than illicit drugs."
That was both because they were more readily available and more people seemed to be using synthetic drugs, some thinking it was a good way to quit illicit substances.
"As a healthcare professional and as a parent it really worries me," Dr Jerram said.
Mr Tobin said St John's staff were concerned about the trend too, noting that most cases of drug abuse are never seen by medical professionals.
"If we are getting called to a few there will be a hell of a lot more we don't see, people who self present, or whose friends or family take them up to A and E, or people who are just cared for at home or in the community by their friends until they recover."

Or maybe its to do with people treating unsafe, untested legal drugs in the same fashion as tested and well known marijuana, the places where it is legal have not seen these problems, also marijuana is quite available if you look in the right places and is quite prevalent (atleast 75% of those I know under 40 years old use it, even occasionally)

If you can't stop people using legislation and you can't afford to police and treat those who "use" (irrespective of usage), then you're going to have to change something. As the people won't change, freedom of choice n all that, then I suggest the next step is to move towards collecting money to police and treat as well as educating people and potentially keeping them away from more harmful substance.

No they have the same issue with alcohol as well. Cannabis is well tested and well known, yes, and it's effects are also well known and it is not an innocuous, harmless drug as much as you would like to claim it is.

Current policy hasn't worked. Let's try something a little less repressive given its widespread use. Let's do a Portugal, well one better, and deal with it instead of sweeping it underground.
What makes you think it will work any better than it does with alcohol abuse? Millions of dollars are spent trying to combat alcohol related problems, including raising taxes on it and that doesn't seem to be doing a lot.

If dope was as readily available as Alcohol and the "legal highs" it would be the same issue.
Synthetic cannabis products commonly available in NZ generally affect the body and mind in a much different way than normal weed. I have witnessed several dope smokers who can handle a few tokes of pot just fine, but once they are under the influence of these synthetic cannabis products there is a huge difference in their behaviour compared to smoking normal weed.
Many of these synthetic cannabis products are dangerous and personally I don't smoke that crap since I have no idea what's in it or where it comes from (other than a factory somewhere in China).
Cannabis is well tested and well known, yes, and it's effects are also well known and it is not an innocuous, harmless drug as much as you would like to claim it is.
Cannabis is harmless when you compare it to many "drugs" that are readily available in supermarkets. Try overdosing on nutmeg or poppy seed tea.

nobody ever said weed doesn't have an effect, and we'll even agree that it can lead to problems like cancer, but do some research and find out what happens when you make alcohol illegal, when somethings illegal it can't be controlled, taxed or subject to standardization.

Just proves it is all about availability. If dope was as readily available as Alcohol and the "legal highs" it would be the same issue. As I said a long time and many pages ago, for every person who exercises restraint and self control there are a million others who don't. This is why I don't support the legalisation of Cannabis.
It most certainly is readily available Ed.
I'd hazard a guess that if it was not a criminal offense to use cannabis there would be virtually no market for the 'legal highs' that are so prevalent (and are causing harm that won't be fully known about for some time yet to come).
And no-one is asking for the legalisation of cannabis. As far as I'm aware, all that's being called for is the decriminalisation of it.

You can always threaten to take the "right" away again. Perhaps there will be less who will abuse it, in fact there may be more who turn to mj and away from booze to get their high. Something that I reckon TPTB are more than aware of and why we have the status quo. And what alcohol prevention methods are there Ed? Pamphlets? Advertising? You are assuming that there will be an orgy of drug taking if it is made legal. I don't think that will be the case. I could be wrong, but evidence from Portugal and given the fact that mj is readily available should you want it would lead me to believe that it won't be anywhere near as bad. If you're willing to waste millions of $ of locking people up for the offences, policing the offences and dealing with the offences in hospital even though it's illegal. Then why not waste million of $ dealing with the issues and not turning people into criminals at the same time. At some point we're going to have to give people their personal responsibility back from those who just say that we can't. I think mj is a perfect candidate for a start.

Decriminalization would be preferable to the current system, but really doesn't solve much, just removes the threat of jail.
I'd prefer to see full legalization and all the things that go along with it, education, better testing procedures, major reduction of the black market including making it harder for minors to aquire and reduction in gang incomes and the violent crime associated with it, and a huge new source of tax for the government.

Decriminisation is the logical first step, just as Civil Unions were the first step towards equality and fairness for Homosexuals. There are still a lot of Kiwis, predominantly from Ed & Grubbers generation that have been rounded up like sheep into believing what they do and it will take a long time for that to wash out. Decriminalisation with strict limits for age/posession, better testing technology to test for actual impairment and quality education and awareness right through our society. It's a big job but it's gotta be better than creating 30,000 criminals each year. The cost could be offset somewhat by saving all the money currently being wasted from pops through to courts and prisons.

You raise an interesting point Ed, although it doesn't help you argue your case any. If I get caught smoking a joint in my living room, doors locked & curtains drawn - I might get a criminal conviction. If I stand on K Road all day & night sniffing a bag of glue until I'm a dribbling mess and annoying people walking past and tax-paying retailers I cannot be charged with a criminal offence and would be treated as a health patient, if I recieve anything other than a popo-funded car ride to under the bridge away from view. When I speak of education around Cannabis use I don't suggest the message should be "Pot is bad, Mmmmmmkay?". Instead, the message should IMO be one of moderation; "it's not the smoking - it's how we're smoking". I feel also that benefit could be had by educating people that smoking cabbage is a waste of time, one paper is enough and stalks should always, always be removed. Then there's other Cannabis-related nasties like spotting oil made with Isopropyl Alcohol or Acetone and the old favourite of melting aluminium foil, inhaling Aluminium Oxide fumes as you go.

Finally some sensible conversation.
Would just like to add that it is not only "my generation" Madness that really have no interest in drugs and would prefer it eradicated if ever possible.
My kids have a huge bunch of mates that wouldn't have a bar of it, and for the record, they have different parents the lot of them. Age ranging between 15 and around 30 at a guess. I haven't heard any of them say different.
So it's not just a generational thing to be fair.
But in part i can agree with some portions of your statement. If you are sitting at home sensibly having a toke, or for that matter drinking a few ales with ya mates, then so be it and leave you alone. Not totally comfortable, but near enough. I don't necessarily have to invite you to my place or like you for it, but it's your choice.
If i ever find out you have arrived at my place after the effect without asking my permission then you will get my foot up your arse, my choice. I actually find that pretty damn offensive to be honest.
If you ever drive on the same road as me under the influence or work with me ( not like that will happen, cause i won't let it) then don't expect me to show you any mercy either, as i don't suffer fools gladly.
so i'm somewhere in between, but have to say, i have never seen any good come from pot or any other substance, and i have been around and in some very dark places at times, so i do have some links one way or another.
Not so sure it's anything to do with being rounded up like sheep, we just have a far different train of thought on these things for different reasons.
Do you ot think also that the money could be saved by people just getting their highs from more life substance, that way we wouldn't have to chase the users around all day, if they weren't interested in using that is. There is more to life than chasing an artificial high, you can get a rush from all sorts of natural daily chores or passions. You ride a bike, surely you must get some rush out of that! At no cost to your health either! Or anyone else's for that matter. (accidents under the influence)

Cannabis is well tested
I'm not so sure that it is..
Cannabis is hardly readily available as is alcohol and legal highs.
hm, probably easier to get actually. especially for kids who aren't old enough to be allowed to buy alcohol or cigarettes yet.

Fucking back-peddle much?
Not really Dude, your still not comin to my place again.
read it more carefully and you will see it for what it is.
I detest the shit and those who use it, for reasons i have given and plenty more i haven't, nothings changed.
But what i do see now is someone who has not sat there and said it's my way or the highway but at least offered up some kind of solution for his part.
For me, don't see the need for it in society as a general and i'm the same with alcohol just in case you were wondering.
Only difference is, i can have a couple of beers and be fine, i can't with dope, and that's not just me either fella, that's you and anyone else who indulges. Never mind the legal parts either, cause that's got nothing to do with it.
So you can back pedal right up my arse mate!
And for the record, i have little or no respect for someone i offer a place to stay arriving stoned at my family home. As i wouldn't if they were pissed.

I'm glad you liked my post and I'm glad you're adjusting your position somewhat after reading the views expressed by others with what must be an open-mind to some degree.
I'd like to come back in response to the bit about people getting high from life & not "needing" Cannabis or chasing artificial highs. For me Cannabis is like a cold beer after work, salt on my fries or sauce on my mince pie. It adds to the experience, enhances it, makes it even more fucking awesome than it might have been without it. Cannabis for me isn't like Heroin is to a junkie, I get up every morning & go to work and function fine without it, without those I interact with realising I might have been a bit potted the night before.
I'd like to respond to you & your mates not having a bar of it also. I wouldn't want to have a bar of homosexuality (that sounded bad, huh?) but I wouldn't let that get in the way of others who choose to root others with the same bits. I find the inequality towards Gay Marriage deplorable in this day & age and struggle to believe that homosexuality itself was a crime not that long ago. Stll, the changes to our laws to date in this area do give me hope that further steps towards being able to call New Zealand a fair country to all are not far away.
As an aside, I haven't hd a good smoke for more than a week now and I'm not crawling the walls or poking anybodys eyes out. Yet.

Excellent! The new popo iPads have apparently raised popo productivity levels already.
isn't that an oxymoron?
Not at all. I'm just surprised at the (by way of extrapolation) a person - whom we know next to nothing about (we know 3 facts: female, 18yo, and a daughter) - is being torn to shreds here over an action that we have no way of knowing exactly what precipitated it.
we know at least one other thing: she snitched to the pigs.
who gives a fuck what precipitated it? going back to my kicking ed in the nuts analogy, is my being stoned any justification for it?
is my date screaming "rape" any reason not to gag her and chuck her in the boot?
like, i was going to do it anyway...
i feel similarly toward child-molestation victims, who go on to perpetuate it as adults - there comes a time when you need to act for yourself and you can't blame it on the past or what has happened to you ("what precipitated it") at 18, despite a bleeding crotch, the bitch can deal for herself, snitching on your whanau for a victimless crime is bitch in any language.

The difference between you and her is, she is perfect and you are ....well you are you, enough said.

Eating it takes a little longer to ingest and feel the effects .. which are more intense in the body from smoking - which is quicker and can be a more mind-stone than a body stone ... Swallowing the glucose capsules that oil has been stored in is even more intense ..
But it depends on the quality of the cannabis as well ... different batches can give you different results .. so it is hard to make a comparison ...

Friends show up with fudge or muffins every now and then, and they definitely get me wasted as, but you can never be sure how wasted because you finish the lot before it hits you so I tend to leave that for at night.
They kind of taste funny too, so I prefer to use my vaporizer, just as 'safe' but far easier (once you work out the proper heat setting)
