Took Paul & Kev out there on Sat too - think i've convinced 'em into the idea of making it an 'organised event'...
What would be a next step? Contact the Council? Other bike clubs for support?

I was thinking about going for a ride to Te Kaha or thru the Waioeka Geogre to Matawai tomorrow (Anzac Day).

I have bad memories about that Matawai road:shit: for some reason.:sick:
Nice place to have lunch at Tekaha though.
Think it is about 2.1/2hrs to TeKaha from Rotovegas at your normal pace, bit longer for the rear guard:yes:

After piling all our (grossly overweight) bags into the house, tho't i'd give slickD a quick ring to thank him for looking after the place (as far as i can tell he ain't nicked nuthin'!); while talking i hear a bike go past and wonder to me-self "could that be a certain 'new' bike in town?". Sure enough i then hear it down the phone as paul turns up at slickD's on the new bike - so what's a jet-lagged bloke to do? hung up (or 'well hung'....?) and sauntered over.
