Weather looking pretty good, have a good healthy breakfast, load the saddle bags up with plenty merino layers stuffed into plastic bags and head on out of town about noon time. I'm having an angiogram done tomorrow (yay! A day off work ) then next Friday, I've got a transoesophageal echo scheduled (yay!! Another day off work!).
The problem occupying my mind today was what music to take with me... if I take a favourite CD, will I hate it afterwards?
If I take something weird, like Modest Mouse, will it freak the people sticking things in/up me out, and make them stuff it up?
Would "Master of Puppets" or "Death Magnetic" make everyone ...

Got home early from gym tonight so jumped on Green Envy for a spin before dinner!

I used this opportunity to put into practice all the advice you have posted. I practiced shifting alot quicker to keep it at 6000 rpm and it was much better. I didn't feel like I was killing the poor thing to quickly...and I think the bike liked it too...kept a steady humming, there were a few slip ups but for the most part I stayed at 6000 or slight just over.

Next thing I want to practice ...

With another winter approaching and my woman complaining of my freezing cold hands after each ride (which I was sure to rush in when finished riding, rip my gloves off, and promptly place on her nice warm stomach) I decided it was time to look at the options available.

Paul didn't work out (decided to join the air force or something like that) so Ikasu is being ridden by whoever is prepared to send some time working on her. Zensen is working out well, sith everyone who has ridden her have had a blast. I'm waiting to hear about 150cc big bore & exhaust kit. Handling wise she's fantastic with a lot more to give, she just needs more go on the straights.
