  1. My how a week can change ...

Well my illustrious company, I find myself on a threshold of a new chapter in life. As of last Thursday, coming home from a late night ride around the Coromandel in the company of the feckless and redoubtable Gremlin, 5am brought a host of horrors.

A note hastily scribbled on the table by my pater had informed me that ill events of a portentous nature had befallen my dear mater.

She had taken ill and had to be whisked with alacrity to Middlemore Hospital, the A&E unit. ...

  2. And the grind goes on...

There is quite a bit of damage to the fairing and seat cowling so it looks like it's going to be a long long week of prep.

  3. Redline Track Day, Dec 17th - the novel

Originally, December 17th was the target day for Trini's Big Day Out. Unfortunately, we hadn't quite gotten things together in time so I was booked and paid up with nothing to ride. Typical. So Plan B was dusted off and I gave Paul a call. After a good chat I had a bike to ride on the day.

Tuesday, I picked up the wife from work and we headed for Jonno's. After getting some petrol and stopping at Quasi's for some gloves that a couple of others wanted I rang Jonno and said it was going ...

It doesn't matter if almost everything else has more horsepower. I don't care if an old 1990's 250 Honda ...

  5. Thursday 17th : Gremlin by name, Gremlin by nature ...

Well late last night, a certain KBer by the name of Gremlin whom I was chatting to on MSN decided to go on a bit of a night ride. He was keen as punch to take his Katoom o'doom, with the name of Katey around the Coro with me at night!

It was a marriage of convenience. I had +90% bulbs that I wanted to road test, and he had a hankering to make up for some lost riding time on his languishing KTM.

As I waited for this esteemed rider of some renown to turn up, I contented ...
  6. ACC - Sing Us A Song

Change in society over the centuries witnesses, more often than not discontent, particularly the internal bickering that does arise……
    Where To From Here?

For some there is abject acceptance of the recently increased ACC levy.

And, for others, there is the projected annoyance at the levy, and projected annoyance may be the ongoing characteristic and action.

For some others there is the reality that within the overall makeup of ACC, there ...
