Actually it might be time to get BACK ON TOPIC!!! - who's keen on a Sunday ride and if not to Kaka Point then other ideas are welcome.
Who prefers a Sat ride - in which case Botb will be pleased to hear from you.
If its a nice day on Sunday (and we want to save Kaka point for another day) then there is a really good loop from here - up to Ettrick, over the Moa Flat Hill and some sealed backroads to Heriot and Tapanui (for Coffee) then back to Raes Junctn, Beaumont and either down the river to Balclutha or home via Lawrence.
We could meet in Lawrence (for lunch?) or Milton.
Its a great ride on a nice day, with some marvelous views and great corners and best of all it takes a couple of hours!!
wuss wuss wuss !!!
Actually I could go both days ... just because I can![]()

Actually theres a place called the Gallery there, run by a couple of gay guys, and they do a pretty good coffee, and its a really interesting shop to look around while you're waiting. Not sure they open on a Sunday though.
If we did the loop I've outlined and we had started after lunch in Lawrence we could also be back in Lawrence for coffee, or Balclutha if going the other way.
