    Seat 4 Stickchick this week

    Hi People
I don't think I can make it on Saturday. We have a heap of work to get done. The reason for this post is to ask someone to offer Stickchick a Pillion seat. She is a great Pillion and is loving the rides so can someone take her please? Thanks people.

I think I can this week. SC - best check with me Sat morn
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Thumbs up

What about a run up the Taihape Road to Otamauri down the back road to Matapiro Road could drop in and see the Mayor of Hastings for a cup of tea. Come back down Matapiro Road back on to the Taihape road back to Fern Hill. The only thing is there could be some metal and might have to check it out. If any one doesn't no its up the Crownthorpe Road. I don't mind sugesting things but if any one dosen't no the Road dont be afraid to ask

Its a good ride especially if you go Matapiro Road first. Great scenery down towards the river and when you come back down the Taihape road you can see over the plains. Great ride.

Yep, if only HDC would get off their chuffs with the road sweeper...tis covered in loose top grit and has been ever since the last stretch was sealed. Worst thing is the grit has been wheel-tracked with liberal crossings of the centre line - not good (but the rest of it is choice).

The whole trip was great, with so many legs. The Wimbledon Tavern a perfect rest stop.

Lunch at Patangata was really friendly and relaxed, almost felt like a lazy beach day.

And what can we say about the tour of the Bay back roads That was hilarious and quite surreal

It ended perfectly, with most of the Ashurst crew finding each other again at the intersection of 2 and 50.

Thanks again guys, we must do it again soon!

Hope you all made it home safely
what he said and great meeting you lot and making us feel so welcome

I got to play my final qualifier in the club champs at golf to morrow morning so I is going to get wet so might give to morrow afternoon a miss. although my wet weather gear has not bin out since before Christmas. Might have to do some wet riding to get insome practice for the track day cos the weather doesnt look to good for that weekend.

I might be able to make it tomorrow, have done something to my back but trying to get into Physio tonight. Does everyone want to PM me with their mobile numbers and email address and real names and I will start a handy dandy notebook to be brought along on our rides etc.

Mstrs will let you know how my back is in the morning
