    Alan, you're f'ing insane, dude!

But supercharge it. Controllable (in the grand scheme of things) progressive power. Even Andrew Stroud was having trouble with that turbo'd Gixxer on the last MotoTT track day, remember.

    yesss, i remember
as death says, sometimes bang noises aren't fun

will only be running low boost and fairly moderate power figures... im pretty sure that gixxer was boosting quite alot making big numbers
    im only aiming for 220-240hp

    Clicky not working

that would be the same video... just not on p00tube.

also, 'that' gixxer if it's the one i'm thinking is a 250hp gixxer, not sure if that's crank or rwhp.. either way.. it's boosting

and don't stick your hand in an engine bay of a highly boosted car while dynoing it :/ durr..

theres heaps of vids of supras, 'zillas and corvettes/vipers etc that are rediculously boosted doing the same thing.

Discarded that idea. I'm having a motorcycling mental breakdown at the moment.

Bloody hell. Maybe it's the season or something.

So this feeling is familiar then: Today, and this evening, the weather is perfect. And I'm thinking "Great night for a bike ride". As I get near the back door to get out the bike I'm thinking "Nah, where am I going to go and how am I going to enjoy it?". So I don't. I have what is quite possibly the most technically perfect motorcycle in the shed that I could possibly afford and I don't feel like using it. And have not done for a few weeks. Like fuck. Hence you and your superchargers wanting something different. And me looking at BMWs (And worse machinery I dare not mention) thinking they look like fun.

    Goddamnit.

For you, might I suggest a 400cc bike or something?

IMHO Superchagers are more suited to bikes due to the more dependable and linear boost as compared to a turbo. Though a turbo tends to be less cost and set up.
