Ok, serious question: would it be a seriously good handling bike with 150/240mm wide tyres? Plenty of people moan and groan about how much of a difference a 190 makes to their supposedly good/great handling bikes.
Always up for a wee dabble! I don't know yet....but I think they'll not go too wild or wide with tyres. Maybe as big as 130 fr....200 rear.

At the end of the day though.....it's not really a corner carver.
More a "What the fuck are you looking at?" at the traffic lights sort of thing.
My take on it anyway. The 'V Max' had a strong following....and if you've ever ridden one.....you'll know what I mean!

Oh ok, I thought the above aforementioned tyre sizes were a little large!

So a K1200R is likely to spank it then?

Not in a straight line it won't. That's a promise!

umm not everyone.. tried both on my 10rs and didn't really do sweet **** all for me, main influence on flickyness is the rather average steering damper setting and the suspension setup (biggest difference). got it to flick aaaalmost as quick as a 250 with a perfect setup.... gotta love great mass centralization and lower cog.

LOL bring on the K.I.T.T. impersonations. Seriously as if a thief is going to listen to you going "oi you.. stop stealing my bike or I'll... I'll.. talk at you some more".

One hell of a mean looking bike! It's gotta sound the business too

Lots of electronics there. With Suzuki build quality, I'll give it a week before it doesn't start. Or it calls the cops on your behalf whilst you're riding it to tell them it's been stolen, and then stops dead.

As far hyper-nekids go I bet/guessing the K1200R shits all over it
The Beemer's certainly a far better looking bike. And it's got what ... 164hp at the rear wheel?

Oh well, will have to make do with what I've got....for now.
I'll look forward to the post entitled "Gone and done it again, and again, and again ... and now again!" a week after it's released, then

    Suzukis build quality is fine
    we have a
2000 bandit only problem is broken speed cable after 10 months, (26,000kms)
    2004 busa, not a single issue (24,000kms)
2004 gsxr 600, only every had one issue,(34,000kms) which is a known fault,(stva, and that part is made by another company for suzuki, and guy in states as traced it back to do bad solder.

I spoke to a man 'in the know' today... This is a new generation engine - not rejigged and fussed with - this is a new lighter better engine than what they've had. From my very liited knowledge it sounds to be the real deal.

Yeah the vid looks like a 190/200 rear. I've got a 240 on the back of mine... some have 280's (M109R). I assume that 280 fits the existing rim (do you know at all)?

I'd be interested in a fatter rear once I wear out the 240. Depending on advice from others on ride/comparative cost etc.
