It's just not worth speeding anymore...

Had a conference in Otaki yesterday and today. I didn't stay so I ended up riding up and back a couple of times. Here's a summary of the HP activity:

    Monday morning
    • Between Tawa and Porirua...HP with laser.
    • Raumati straights...HP with Ka
    • Otaki township...Ka detected but didn't see the car
    • There was also a speed camera but I forget the location
    Monday Evening
    • Passing lane between Waikanae and Pram...HP with Ka
    Tuesday Morning
    • Again, between Tawa and Porirua (different spot though)...HP with Laser
    • Speed camera around Whenua Tapu
    • End of the Raumati straights...HP with Ka
    Tuesday Evening
    • Just before the weigh-station...HP with Ka
    • As I passed the Police College...HP with Laser
So it would seem that there's a bit of a blitz on speeding at the moment....take it easy out there people.

Obviously a bountiful harvest being collected on those roads, must have hit a vein to attract that many of the govmint's bouncers.

    Well said ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

That's what you get for living in da city.
The laser is the only concern. The Ka is no problem with the detector. Specially when in traffic.

Too true....the detector went mental a number of times and saved me a few bucks.

Yeah, I've noticed the increased activity too, there's definately something on out there. Loads between pram and wellybum, thought I was pinged with one yesterday morning only to realise I was actually within the limits...thats plus one to the naked factor

What a wonderful little device the V1 is ! Not fullproof, but gives an advantage.
Keep riding, just pick your moments and don't judge all policemen by the traffic branch. Gaz.

there still down here to mate........thing is why not.......the roads mentioned above are pretty well populated so why speed on em anyway.....cops must view it as takin candy from kids........as there is down here so it must be up there that theres plenty of places to go quick without getting pinged........
