I can totally relate to that one! Had a hard enough time adjusting to life in Auckland, then the Navy ripped me away from everything I knew and loved and dumped me in Wellington (ah, the joys of being a Navy wife!). Still having trouble adjusting to this place. Been toying with the idea of going home myself now that there's a wee one on the way....but hubby's not keen on the idea (being a Kiwi and all) and once you're in NZ it's a hard road home $$-wise.

Best of luck. I hope everything works out for you and that you find some peace and happiness.

You think posting on KB that you've made a decision to go home to where you heart is as being a cowardly act? A sign of defeat? Having a negative impact on your pride?

Get a grip man - making decisions such as this shows balls, commitmement and loyalty.

    Be strong dude.

Deep down you know what's right.

Sarge, understand your dilemma, and sympathise with your situation, give us a list of anything else you need to sell mate.
    You will be sorely missed.

At the risk of sounding like a bastard, why did you emigrate to NZ in the 1st place?. I think you're making a hasty decision here.
