Like the smily face pic - lol

Good to see you are postive about the whole thing.

Curious - did you have your head light on? & if yes was it high or low beam?

DAMM. Those are some great pics. My boy broke his femur at that start of the year and had 2 pins, he was just comparing x-rays. Glad to see your on the mend. What were you bidding on and looking for now?

I guess there are two ways to look at most things, being positive is just so much easier

Accident was a shade after 5pm, roughly 5:10pm so was still plenty of light and yes I had my front light on (low beem)

Oh ok, how long to full recovery for the boy?

Im about to buy a car tomorrow (all things being equal) & another bike as soon as im able to ride. Two days prior to the accident I had bid & won an auction for a 92 GSX750F sports/tourer but the seller was pretty dodgie & pulled out of the sale (not knowing of my accident) so will be looking for something along those lines again (mid sized sports tourer).

From what I understand the way they sewed me up (with metal clips & cotton) it will prevent major scarring? Time will tell I guess. Im not really bothered to be honest. Who cares about a scar on the leg??? Im not that vain

    BTW: Dont chicks dig scars?

Hope the recovery goes well mate. I know of the intersection your talking about, I drive past it every day and I always get nervous.

Oh and I'm pretty sure I flew back home with you from Auckland! Didn't even realise...

I had the same metal clips when my appendix exploded, it still left a pretty big scar. Not to mention all the holes for the tubes and shit.

Haha, that probably would of been the other(real) pilot, I'm always careful when I walk on past the patients, although there isn't much space!
I was helping out up front doing the radio work, checklists etc as it was a pretty grotty day.

    Take care man

Ha small world aye. Well thanks for your assistance. Twas a pretty good flight considering said conditions, although there was a couple of sharp drops with the turbulance, but hey im happy to lay blame on the pilot if you are
