Same here. Hehe.... I did it to stay alive and be sensible. I am in denial that I am getting old.... maybe getting 'older', but defintely not old!

Too many times picking up dead people and cleaning up road trauma was motivation enough to settle for a more comfortable cruiser ride.

the fact of the matter is , that there are alway going to the sportbike factor in new zealanders way of life, we are a sport bike nation,i don,t like it ,i ride what i ride because i like the bling bling and the comfort not to mention the wide rear end of the 9, the 9 can catch most sports bike with a good push , not in corners but then fast cornering is for nutters and people who want a short but fast life, 100km is cruising ,i can see the world and come home to my little girl , i want to live life to a right old age, so each to there own ride what you wan't ,BUT SPORTS BIKE SHOULD KEEP TO THEIR SIDE OF THE FENCE AS SHOULD CRUISERS, if you want hp buy a moper

Just like martial arts experts, they never go on about it.

I've built machinery that's scarily fast; big F'n deal. There really are some jerk-offs out there (predominately, by the look of it, on sportsbikes) who give their ilk a bad name.

Oh well, that's KB I suppose; like life, there's always the fuckwit factor.

For sure.....i respect what you have just said, ive a couple of mates that ride Harleys..amongst the rest of our riding group that are generally on jap sports bikes......sure we give each other a bit of shit in fun but like i say its in fun....ive a jappa thats had and still has some serious money spent/being spent on it..cause thats what i enjoy.....i do a lot of miles on it and i seem to bump into a similar bunch of jerk-offs.....difference is there riding Harleys...how many times have i been sat with..richard for instances..a bloke with a new harley and still has his old sporty......chewin the fat at a rally when some guy starts wanking on about shit he did that day..on the same road id ridden on..that day thats just a load of shit......when challenged about it he gets all anti jap........theres a lotta great harley/cruiser riders out there but theres a lotta fuckin dreamers that ride em as well.....if there is an anti harley thing out there in my opinion its been bought on by themselves.....a mate of mine who is here havin a few quiets reminded me of the march hare 4 years ago when this fucker took a disliking to his restored old Z650......for about 2 hours this fucker goaded bede......wankin on about jap shit......in the end when confronted on the toilets bede head butted his nose all across his greasy face.......i am old enough and done enough miles to say live and let live.......but oh no..go to a rally and theres always some hero thats living the american dream.

Mate ive always enjoyed your posts..and your bike but......i to have plenty to come home to myself, doing tight corners fast is what i love about bikes..no i am not a nutter i just get the same pleasure doing that that you get doing what you do..........different strokes eh.......there is a time and place to do everything. Its all about deciding when and where........
