So like I said before - his team gave him an bloody GOOD bike. 125s just don't clear off like that.......................
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

To add insult to injury, Mr Smith was saying in his blog that he nearly crashed toward the end of the race and the bike developed a misfire in 5th from that point on, so he was riding around an issue or two.

17 seconds is mammoth in any class of motorsport, but a margin like that in 125GP is legendary!
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Now, on a botched up Kawasaki (Which was a piece of shit, no matter who rode it, in spite of the factory backing it had up till this year.) he gets some stunning results?????

It's the sort of stuff that makes MotoGP soooooo interesting.
The bbc comentarty was good, One thing when you dont use a frame ( ducati ) the stresses go through the crankshaft ( unless they move the load path ?) and because the stresses go through the crankcase , the case needs to be stronger ,,,interesting

also on a more seriuos note ................... TITIES

What a difference a year makes.

I liked his comment that previously when he told the mechanics what was happening and what he wanted they just looked at him with disbelief then largely ignored him.

When he went to Ducati they told him they would back him and when he told the mechanics what he wanted they did it without question

I think the tyres may have something to do with it, but you must recall that Melandri was very good, before he went to Ducati. It seems that virtually no-one (not Capirossi, Melandri, or Haystack) apart from Stoner can tame the beast.
I often thought it would have been VERY interesting if instead of Rossi going to to Yamaha, he'd gone to Ducati (back then Ducato wasn't doing so well). The Italian fans would've been in absolute heaven.

    Hmmmm....
    That IS interesting.
Apparently, on the VTR1000 (which uses the engine as a stressed part of the frame), the cases disintegrate at a mere 125hp or thereabouts.
The VFR cases must be stronger, because there's a guy in Mrka who's developed a Rotrex-based kit for them, and it churns out around 160hp, with unmodified engine internals and cases. He's had more than 2 years of running the thing with no problems at all.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I don't know if rossi has the pace, I'd say one of either pedrosa or lorenzo will win with stoner second.

Not I! I'm a gambler..but I think Rossi will win this round and of course the next. Then I think Stoner will start doing the bizz.

You planning on staying up all night to watch it? Or set the alarm.

Watched it last night, much more civilized - for a change

Aye. He once again rode it safe and brought it home for some good points!

Only 1 point seperating Lorenzo, Rossi and Stoner after four rounds!
