Its not the buying that is the disease - its the riding

    Buying is merely a symptom

No no...this disease is present in many people. Some are lucky enough to recognise it's presence, and do something about it.
Buying a bike is akin to getting an antibiotic from the doc, and riding is akin to taking the course.
Of course, none of the available treatments is effective at curing the disease. The best one can hope for is control...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

My wife says that I have to avoid bikeshops and whorehouses. BUT she has got it quite wrong. I can easily say 'NO' to the slim bit of no-committment sure thing fanny waving at me and just walk out.

I ment the sex - which, the last time I tried it, was satisfying.

Mind you, things could have changed since then.

Hmmm, now you mention it, the last handshake I got from Tim DID linger a little longer than was comfortable...
