I went from a Honda Magna 250 (cruiser style) to a CBR600F and am loving it. Heaps more power but as stated above it's all in the wrist...take it easy and build up the confidence.
I'm still getting used to keeping the revs up. I'm still changing wayyyyy too early. The lights turn green, take off and up to 50kms without changing gear...no probs!

My 750 is a beaut, stable and fast enough, But depends on how long you've been riding. Can be lethal in the wrong hands, so take it easy man! Definately go for the 750.
any year thou would suffice..tho the new 09's do look grouse.
