    Ticket?

I rode to Auckland on sunday to buy a tyre from Death so I could get a warrant for me bike, Ridin along the motorway I saw a cop about 10 cars ahead so was just cruising along, the cop pulled off the motorway, i went past and he pulled me over.

He said he pulled me cause he couldnt read my rego plate, So my warrant had run out the day before= $200,Rego ran out the week before= $200, and get this obscured rego plate= $200. =$600.

I thought he would give me a ticket for no Rego, But for fuck sake 1 day out warrant????
And heres the funny part I took My bike for a warrant today and the rego plate was sweet, They didnt even look twice at it and this was at the testing station.

So Im writing a letter to the police to see if i can get off the warrant and obscured plate charges. I'm goin to send a photo of my plate to them.

What ya reckon will I get off?

Heres a pic of where the plate is mounted, its just a white plate in the photo, havent got a pic from the rear, but it is so easy to read, I'll post the pic I send to them when I get it.

I can attest to the fact you can see it clear as day from behind, even with the rider on board it's still above the tyre level..... obscured my arse!!!

Dude....you had no warrant or rego, whether it was a day out or 10 days out...how can you try and avoid this one..you got to be kidding....take responsibility dude

I agree with the plate, however, the warrant was the day after so that may be your downfall plus once again we all know that putting a plate there is asking for a cop to check you out....tip..don't give the cop the opportunity...if it was not for the plate you would have got away with the rego and warrant....

I reckon they will let you off the WOF and the rego after you mail in a copy of the new ones. Also include a photo of the moving bike while seated in a car following behind - with the plate clearly visible, and tell them you will see them in court regarding that.
