The greatest pleasure of my recent life has been speed on the road. . . . I lose detail at even moderate speed but gain comprehension. . . . I could write for hours on the lustfulness of moving swiftly.

Ah huh....think they spent abit more than $34k, still struggling

Heh, nice try, but I don't think anyone is ignorant of how much Ducati (*cough* tobacco money *cough*) spend on their racing![]()
Appology accepted. You know I find that Duc's are well down in the power stakes on paper but something in the formula works just right and I don't have any issue keeping up with bikes that theoretically should be able to toast me. And the way it lays down the power its got is just bliss.
I see you have discovered the Ducati position. I even experienced it on a monster which looked totally upright. I'd even go as far to say that I find the tank position very comfortable and right. I have a theory that the position lends itself to the handling and that you use more of your body to control the bike.... but its just a theory.

What would happen if inline fours were allowed to be 1200cc as well in WSBK? Would the twin make it up in the corners?
Would the extra power be usable power or too much (tyre wear etc)?
AhhhhYou can keep trying the SBK card on as much as you like, but given that they always alter the rules to give twins an easy time after Ducati has a little cry, it hardly holds much water... yep that's right, Ducati tobacco money doing it's thing once again.
You would be better putting their MotoGP championship win on a pedestal. Admittedly it's just the one, but at least it was earnt on a level playing field.

Steady on there big fella. The tank cradles the stomach not the softies. Girlies who own Ducati's have impecable taste but like the whole Ducati family are enthusiastic riders. Never met a softcore Duc rider EVER!
BTW If your after a batton measuring contest you post a photo first and then I'll do the same!
