    SBK09 PC - multiplayer racing

Who else has this game on PC?

A few of us have been dueling it out online via multiplayer, but other talent is pretty thin on the ground and we seem to be beating people by 2-3 laps even over a 5 lap race!!!

If you have the game and are keen to race, go to www.gamespy.com and setup an account.

We could possibly do a weekly race night, or just arrange something via here

You'll know me if you see me in game

Here here. Been 3h already and only downloaded 3.7%.
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

Well throw the torrent my way then - I've broken 100GB this month as well, so might as well go for the 200GB download.

I'll probably shoot myself or this later, but if you dont have a gamepad, you can still race pretty good on keyboard. Try this setup and see if it helps:

    Steering
    Rake: min
    trail: max

    Suspension
Put everything 80-90% across to the right

    Chain Tension
    Min

Gearing and tyres to suit :-)

My advice is learn to powerslide - in simulation mode

IF it doesnt work online with pirated copies try Hamachi (google it) basically sets up a virtual lan so then you can play as LAN game in the multiplayer instead of protected online mode.

I thought this would be another crap arcade motorcycle game but i have been informed that its one mighty fine simulator. I doubt it would run on my PC though

It doesnt even get released here for another month.

I don't know about simulator. Online play is fun in 'advanced' mode, without a decent analogue controller the 'simulator' and extreme modes are bit much and generally result in swearing and ranting. It does a fairly decent job of representing what it's like to ride a bike, I like it much more than Tourist Trophy.
