    Four-stroke break in?

I was told (by reckless I think) to break in a 2stroke by riding it how you want it to go. Seemed to work pretty well and have had no problems with that on 2strokes. Whats the deal with 4strokes with new top ends, hows best to break them in.

Ditto, the OEM have a vested intrest in ensuring the product has a good reputation by being as reliable as possible, they have spent many$ on research to get it right. The opinions of back yard mechanics pale by comparison.

Agreed, there are people who know a thing or two, and there's a lot who think they know a thing but dont....sorting them out is the problem.
