Is this the same layout as a Subaru boxer engine ? Where the pistons go sideways ? RandomWould like to see this in a motox bike!... Would of thought it would stick out rather far though

would i be correct in sayins its just a two cylinder 2 stroke but in a boxer configuration with a funny crank. Cant see many benifits over a inline twin two stroke, balance would be better, but takes up heaps of space, so probly not for bikes. Viffermans link has a super and turbo charged one, now this is an idea i like, pity it can only do deisel.
What i want to see in a bike is a supercharged direct injection petrol engine. KTM were working on a direct injection two stroke at some point but it must have stopped, pity.
