You've got the oil that goes on the air filter (spray on stuff is the easiest) usually blue or red and hellishly sticky, and gearbox oil that keeps your clutch all nice and wet - goopy gold coloured stuff

If it's milky or has bits of clutch in it it's probably time for a change

I do my air filter about every three rides or more often if it's really dirty. Bit slack

And do the oil when it looks like it needs doing

It's real basic once you've done it once. Just don't strip any bolts and you're sweet.
