Watching this superb event really made a big impression on me, haven't thought about much else since. When I think of how demanding it must have been - especially for the guys who who probably hadn't ridden trials type stuff much, it gives me a little bit of a lump in my throat from admiration. The obstacles were relentless and no rest time or room to re-focus and line yourself up properly. (Felt inspired, had a good titu around some of the easier bits of the trials area at Sandpit today. Result: mashed expansion chamber, smashed guard, tweaked ribcage, so i'll definitely be back for more).
Scott's victory donut and hand held out for high fives was bloody priceless - really summed the event up for me. Huge respect to you all of you guys who did the business.
Did anyone see anything on the TV news about it?
yeah there was a clip on the news but by the time the TV was un-muted and the dickheads standing in the way moved... it was over

There is no such thing as bad weather; only inappropriate clothing!
Great event! And really lucky to miss the rain, wow. The little devil on my shoulder was sort of wishing it'd rain a bit just to see how slick that wall ride could get...But nah, good it didn'tFantastic effort from all of the riders, really wicked. Some real talent and determination out there! That concrete must have been awful to fall on, can't have been easy on the bikes either. Standing under the bridges as the bikes rumbled over was quite cool, visibility at ground level was a bit of an issue for the vertically challenged, but was all good from the grandstand. We were cheering and clapping for the KBers in the race. Hope there'll be another one next year

who said trials was for Pussys
Life shouldnt end at the grave well presented but rather, slide in sideways totally worn out yelling "shit that was a great ride!"
Was short (2 mins) but good very stuff. Hopefully more to come next weekend.
Copy that re being very cool with bikes going over you on the ramps Spiked punch. View from grandstand was very good but can't beat getting real close to the apocalypes action. I love the smell of premix in the morning.
I'll only be buying Red Bull go-juice in future, those guys do a tremendous job in supporting action sports.
What an awesome day. Really well run event. Didnt get to see as much as I wanted to, got stuck serving non stop vodka Redbulls to the redbull people. Had an awesome view from where we were though.
