There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.

Actually they supplied the bikes and did all the maintenance, paid the insurance & there was no weekly rental.

Because of that the job rates were lower than other companies but I was still clearing 450- 500 pounds or more a week running about 2 dozen central city jobs a day plus I'd get outside the M25 2 or 3 times a week so I was happy with that arrangement. A quiet week might have got down to 350 pounds. All I had to do was put gas in the bike and ride it.

I know, Dell was a good mate, he was riding for wheels , before he became the controller at moves as long as I cleared me 100 I was happy , I didn't like long jobs , more money in city

Often though of having a wee holiday and doing it again for a month or two
