    Bucket racing

    Just wondering, whats this bucket racing i hear about, obviously a class of bike racing but what are the rules, what bikes can you use, do they need reg n wof, riders licence, how often and where and how do i get involved? Could the girlfriends cbr125r be used?

    Bucket racing is great fun and yes you can use her bike

    no WOF or road licence but you need to be a MNZ affiliated club member and hold a MNZ race licence, although you could get a day licence to try it and see if you like it

    also check out www.bucketracing.co.nz it has the bits you need to know without having to trawl through all our shit talk (A good side to buckets!)

    as the others say yes the CBR can be used but what they don't say is it will be a bit of a weapon!

    It would be advisable to invest in some crash protection, you will find plenty on that and more in the bucket sub-forum.

    thanks guys, should have looked harder for the bucket racing forum first oops. Now i gota convince the missus to let me take her cbr125 to the track....
