I was just looking back through the pics on my phone and found these from last week. Sorry about the poor quality (anyone want to donate a new phone?) but I hope you can see they are pics of my Volty with ice on the seat. brrr!

Aha! You should be on one of those TV crime scene investigation shows.

The bike was parked in a car storage yard, while I was assigned one of the cars to write a review on. This pic was taken when I returned the car (the Honda CRV in the background) and picked up my bike.

Under normal circumstances my bike lives in a locked and alarmed garage, with her blankie to comfort her if she gets scared in the night. She's not used to being out in the cold in the company of strange cars!

I sent the pic to a friend and he replied "Cool as[s]!" But I couldn't possibly repeat that story for fear of having my BDOTGNZA membership cancelled.

Actually she was left out in the car yard for three cold nights.

But after scraping the ice off the seat and giving her a good bit of choke she ROARED into life and off we went! She's definitely the Best Bike Ever.

So you let her out for some wild fun with some strange cars for a few nights? At least with ice on her derrière she was letting them know she's "not that kind of bike, thank you very much"!

I don't think I'd fancy parking myself on a freshly iced seat, but maybe a decent meal of baked beans beforehand might help warm it up.

Dem Volty's are tough lil buggar's. Ice wouldn't bother it. (hell, an ice age wouldn't bother it).
Kanny misses her Volty. I'm a bad man for selling it

Pfft. One can barely see the ice.

After a night parked in kiwifruit's driveway in Taupo a couple weekends ago, you could barely see my GSX1400 under the ice.

Here I was thinking you'd invented some kind of new haemoroid relief or bike air conditioning system.
