If you are referring to Ixion's comment, then I think you'll find he meant a Darth Vader helmet as in a helmet that ACTUALLY looks like the helmet that Darth Vader wore in Star Wars...

Can't be bothered reading all the posts in this thread, so excuse me if a correction has already been posted.........
You really must go get a history lesson......a German helmet is NOT a symbol of Naziism (sp)....... it was merely part of the German army uniform....the Nazi part of what you are talking about was a political party

Your BMW is enough to give the august gentlemen of the BMWOC apopolexy on its own, regardless of whatever helmet you might be wearing.

Yeah, it's a similar attitude to the ignorant reporter who did the shockingly inaccurate 'expose' on the NZ firearms 'community'. At one point he showed a stand at a gun show with Nazi-marked items and Nazi flags etc. and then upon walking out stated that he was glad to be away from 'all the Nazis and right-wingers'. He failed to show all the other items at the same stands from the various different armies involved in WW2. Some people get overly upset by anything bad that has occurred in the past. It is our history, for better or for worse. There is nothing we can do to change that but we need to know it, remember it and learn from it to avoid repeating the same mistakes. Identifying something as inherently bad and then shunning/ignoring it is utter insanity.

I'm not sure what you are referring to, but I'm sure the grown men in question probably are probably not all that worried. I find the tendency to dismiss and belittle people due to how they choose to behave sad.

No doubt. Although in the case of that reporter he will soon be able to wax his head to a mirror shine which should cheer him up a bit.

That's the second time you've used that word tonight and the second time you've spelt it wrong (in two different ways).

    It's apoplexy.

See, Hitcher is rubbing off on me.
