To the pub, it has been bought out by a couple from Te Aroha of all places...My home town....

She said that she will call guys monday to confirm accomodation and anyone wanting to bunk in with anyone it will cost approx $10.00
Cabins are $30-35 I think...
If anyone wants a room mate with a Orange motorcickle and doesn't snore or smoke like a TRAIN, PM me and we can snuggle up together for the night...

She did say it is thick as pea soup there and they have had some sleet...

The other place up the road had units for $30 with no cooking but hot showers etc. I think there is also a 4WD club coming next Friday...

The lady at the pub told me I was welcome to sleep on the floor in the bar

Told her its been a few years since last I did that and dont intend to start again now

Maybe the floor of the shearing shed will be luxury after all

yip i got the floor in the lounge for $30, think i might camp in taupo..the night..
i can get hot pools for $30 and a bed..

Sold . Anyone remember what a room cost , I can't remember as Rex booked it over a month ago, then Junk can do the maths. We booked it for 3 as I figured a mate would come but he seems to think it is more important to be at home for the birth of his first grandchild , the priorities of some people !!!

just her comments last time I spoke with them.....But will wait & see. Least they are going to call everyone before hand

yea plan was taupo, and debrets was the go but not cheap there..

ive grabed the spare bed at the pub..
its about 20mins from taupo to the start of the ride.
keep an eye on the thread, another spare bed may come up..

She took my number and she said that anyone looking for a bed should call. She will call me back when numbers are confirmed and pass my number or call me if a spare bed turns up.

So, I guess we aren't getting snuggly then Joe...
