intersting to see tat the 250 two stroke riders advice against it, ill put my 2 cents in and advise against it too, ive rode an RS250, and owned a KR-1S (250 two stroke as well) and they just wheelstand far to easily coming out of corners, invoking the dreaded tank slapper at times. Learn on a oldish four stroke 2fity would be my advice. Worked for me anyway.

I went over to Waihi on the weekend and had a ride with Cave Weta on his dirt bikes! What a neat guy! - he showed me all sorts of tricks about staying safe and enjoying dirt riding. and we rode a selection of bikes too.
Cave Weta's Got a KTM 525 and I had a little play on that too- but after all that rain the riding was wet and slippery messy so we watched DVDs on Erzburg and Red Bullwhile he cooked us a meal.
I agree with what Weta told me about dirtbikes-"you can ride as hard as you like and not get tickets, and you dont have to pay huge rego fees to have fun on two wheels."
Im going over again soon![]()
Ok forgive me for that, i meant to say you and lula are definitely hot and make the other girls jealous that ride a motorcycle, and ride it good, and thats straight up real talk bruh. Im sorry to the other women i may of offended.
Anyways you are also right in the fact that everyone learns and picks up skills definately, softrider if you feel you could be prepared to handle the aprillia and manage to build your skills on it.
Your sweeping generalisations only make you look silly! At the race track there are a few chicks that race fast, ride etremely well and are HOT!
Nicksta, Flame, Rossi Gal, Avalon B, Rach Price just to name a few cause there are more!
I guess when you grow up you'll find out for yourself eh!![]()

LoL im a rebel, anyways on topic, did some research the rs250 has a seat height of 770mm, front brakes-dual discs, rear brakes-single disc. 16.5 litres, and the one you probably want to know about, 70hp, 20nm of torque. Sounds like not enough torque to accompany the hp, im guessing you would have to ring the thing in high revs to make it boogie.
I cant help it im naturally a dickhead like shortcircut on the internet lol.
Im out of school now, went to a new cops seminar going to hopefully be going to wing242 college i think it is, next year and graduate as a officer, yup keen to go for a ride.
I personally wouldnt ride a rs250, to fast for my liking, as long as it looks like a big bike and feels big and can cruise at 100k its fine with me.
