Nah! I didn't do the tags to make a big deal out of it. It was just a bit of fun. Like I said in post #1, If you don't want to get the tags, just turn up for the meet. Doing the tags was just a bonus for the crazies among us.

it seems our game is rather "hutt dominated" at the moment, top 3 all living over that way.

Can all taggers please go to the stats sheet and add a "home" location next to thir name on the overall tags claimed table...you can be as accurate as you wish ie Mirimar,or Wellington,Lower Hutt or Maungaraki,as long as the suburb/locality you choose is recognised by Google maps.....kapiti for example is no good,it looks down near dunedin!.I will use this location to do some work on distances.....The stats sheet is editable by everyone at the moment just follow teh link below or on cloggys sig......once this is done i will hide that column....

Im a newbie but heres my take-

My first TAG -taken at Upper Hutt- placed in T-Bay and I live on cold side of Mt Wainui - nice arvo's riding thanks to TAG Orama


Made my 'herculean effort'- treatment plant at the Bay
Thought it was the bomb- tricky shot- outside fringe of map- 5.10 pm i took the pic and road home to place post- went to dinner with wifey and kids smug that 'my' tag was gonna twist some nungs....

THEN some crazy ass gixxer owner went out in the wet/black and nailed it!
I was hoping the council gates would keep it safe overnight- sigh


Issue with too many riders from Hutt-
Hutt just has a big rider population I guess-

Someone said to me I was mad owning a bike in WOA with 'that' hill in my daily path- hell it adds to the rush to be honest, 12 fast off camber tight gravity fed corners each way, every day, brekky and dinner - YEEEHAAAA!

Could a rule be made that riders placing tags must place at least xx-km from home base etc?
Force some inter area/suburb movement?

Someone said to me I was mad owning a bike in WOA with 'that' hill in my daily path- hell it adds to the rush to be honest, 12 fast off camber tight gravity fed corners each way, every day, brekky and dinner - YEEEHAAAA!

They are probably just jealous that they haven't got such a great hill to ride over every day. Just like a mini-taka's eh?

we dont need any more rules IMHO...the tag will move around and it ussually stays in a certain area for a bit,specially during the week....No tag is safe mate...even tags placed at or near midnight in the middle of the week!

Has anyone heard from AerO of late, seems to have gone very quiet considering the tags have been on his doorstep so to speak??
