    I think I recall...

There are also a few used imports about.

The '03 with high flow head, high front guard, single front disc, output shaft roller bearing model is considered the pinnacle of development as the later low guard twin disc front end is not so dirt-worthy. However the 50mm Extreme fork on the '00 model is considered the best-handling front end.
Both the 2000 and my 2002 are NZ New models....That is CrazyFrog and mine. I think Steve has a NZ new one as well....Is that right?

    The 640's (625cc) are all LC4's.

There are a couple of the enduro type ones and the 640A.
Also some that had LC4 625 on the stickers/tank.

The 640's are only 625cc and share the same engine so don't be fooled by the badges. And the 660 is only 654cc same as the new 690.

One Oscar missed, LC4 640 SM Prestige, quite tasty. Definitely cosmetic changes but maybe some hard parts, too.

There are RXC variants but perhaps not strictly in the "640" line, being 400 and earlier 620 (609cc). Pretty sure I test rode an LC4 400 RXC (enduro) and that thing definitely was a paint shaker. Blurry vision at 110km/h on the motorway (smoothed out by 130), chattered your teeth together at certain revs. My 640 is Rolls-Royce smooth in comparison; that LC4-4 was infinitely worse.

Here's the Wikipedia page: 8 KTM Model History. Note that "EGS" is the internal/VIN model code for LC4 (or many thereof) so listing it separately is perhaps redundant.
    Cheers,
    Colin
