Babysteps - we didn't find the message but figured you must have taken off somewhere - no sign of you.

Cool ride thanks guys. Bit hard to keep up with the little bikes on the rough, tight, slippery stuff but had heaps of fun. Few photos attached.

    Cheers R

Yep, I had an enjoyable day too.
    Thanks guys.
Camera only came out at a couple of stops so I have basically the same pics as cooneyr, but here they are anyway...
1,2,3 at the meeting before departure.
4 after a play on a hilly loop half way up the north side.
5 cooneyr and El scooto departing from the McLanes Island 'hump in the road' parking area along the south side.
6 my crf while I wait for Lugzy and the rest to arrive at the exit. We had split in to two groups along the south bank where the logging guys were working.

An awesome day alright, and great to catch up. The TT was less pleased though. Final damage report: Two indicators, speedo cable and headlight destroyed. Who knew that these rides were so expensive?

Yeah great day. Didn't have any water in my motor but sure had a few litres in the boots. Alex's TTR was quite a lightweight special by the days end.

My DR650 is finally alive again.. at long last. $3432 for the engine work plus the oil/filter for filling after cooneyr and I (mostly cooneyr, thanks man) put it back in the bike.
I would have been interested but I think J wants to make me ride out of town for a weekend overnighter at an undisclosed location. But hey, atleast we'll be on our bikes too.

No worries fella. Glad it lives i.e. I connected things to the right places. Still watching an auction on tardeme at the moment but I might be off to Dunners next weekend for a SBC bike. Otherwise my wife and I may well be off to some undisclosed location so I'm out.

    Great news TA.
Sometimes you wish it was easier, but if it was, everyone else would do it, then you remember you don't want to be like everybody else!
