He's looking at all kinds of options from swapping yours to buying RMZ250's or KXF250's to swapping his ute (also on trademe) for a 08 CRF450 so who knows. Just hope he hurries up so we can get back to giving him shit about not jumping haha

Edit: Plastics were swapped coz he's a Poof and wants things to LOOK gorgeous. Made us paint the tank too so it looked good. Got the oranage ones still too. (I'm guessing this is why people seem to think it's hot?)

bloody boys! what a waste of a ute lol.

i thought i was going to have to do alot of upgrades when i bought my 2005 300exc, but the suspention was suprisingly plush even with a 95kg fat man on it, coulda used some bar risers though.

cheers man. so 05 onwards has an orange rear spring. I wonder if it's a different spring rate/ designed for a heavier/lighter rider? I'll figure out the ergo thing when i test this 04 on sat hopefully... A major reason I like the oranges is the longer (taller) rider comfortability they seem to have

I think they are a longer spring (extra 20mm?) so more plush. Oh yeah the 03& 04 have a weird 3rd bushing in the forks to enhance strength but makes em not work so well. Not too hard mod to take em out tho.

    06 is $2g + more.. worth it??

who knows? it does look a hell of a lot better. probably gonna gimme less drama. It's so hard to test ride bikes in the appropriate conditions which sucks

Text Steve and ask if he's interested in doing the Staircase and Rockgarden on Saturday arvo.... couple of us are thinking about heading round it and would give you a chance to check it out in its element..... Then even if it's not his you go for at least you've tested one on our type of tracks....
